O'Cof Securities Limited (“OSL”) is an independent securities broker incorporated and headquartered in the Commonwealth of The Bahamas. Founded in 2021 by two financiers and former national team teammates, OSL's partners are now the youngest securities brokers in the Caribbean region. They are dedicated to providing creative and first-class solutions to private and institutional clients in the capital markets, wealth management, and technology industries.
N'Nhyn Fernander and Alexander Encinar first met as teammates on the Bahamian national swimming team, where they achieved national records. After pursuing separate careers in finance, including roles at hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, and private banks, they reconnected during the COVID-19 pandemic. This period marked a surge in retail trading, highlighting a significant gap in access to U.S. and international markets for the Bahamas and the wider Caribbean region. This gap led to their creation of Prospuh, a mobile neo-broker app launched in October 2023 designed to bridge this very divide for Caribbean investors. While developing Prospuh, N'Nhyn and Alexander observed alack of personalized service in wealth management, where clients were often seen merely as numbers. Motivated to change this, they expanded their vision and founded O’Cof Securities Limited. Their primary focus at O’Cof is on company growth and client security, ensuring that each client receives individualized attention and care.
Our aim is to provide innovative solutions in a world where financial institutions have become inflexible and bureaucratic. We strive to eliminate unnecessary, counterproductive processes to offer better client experiences and relationships. O'Cof Securities Limited is dedicated to serving high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions seeking sophisticated financial management services. We pride ourselves on a client-centric approach that combines personalized service, strict confidentiality, and a comprehensive understanding of the global financial landscape.
